Beppu City 100th Anniversary Final Event Organized by BEPPU PROJECT After approximately two years of hosting diverse commemorative events beginning in 2023, we are now approaching the grand finale of Beppu City’s 100th anniversary celebrations. This special final event aims to conclude our centennial festivities with gratitude and to carry our heartfelt thanks into the future. No prior registration is required; everyone is warmly invited to attend. We eagerly await your participation! 【Beppu City 100th Anniversary – Final Event Details】 ■ Date & Time: 2025-03-30 (Sunday) | 15:00–16:05 (Doors open at 14:30) ■ Venue: B-Con Plaza Convention Hall Address: 12-1 Yamanote-cho, Beppu City, Oita Prefecture, Japan ■ Event Schedule: • 14:30: Slideshow featuring highlights from past 100th-anniversary commemorative events • 15:00: Opening Ceremony • Special commemorative video presentation • Reading of a special thank-you letter expressing gratitude • Interactive performance with paper airplanes carrying messages of thanks, falling gently like confetti • Cultural performances highlighting Beppu’s local traditions • Spectacular lighting displays and marching performances • 16:05: Closing Ceremony ■ Additional Activities: From approximately 13:00 at the venue entrance, participants can write personal “Thank you” messages on paper airplanes, which will then be exhibited on a special display board. This is an opportunity to express appreciation to your family, friends, and community members. ■ Admission: No prior application required; admission is open to everyone. Please come and enjoy this celebration together! ■ Important Notices: • To ease congestion and for environmental considerations, please use public transportation when visiting. • Attendees at this event will have a chance to win pairs of tickets to an exclusive commemorative concert scheduled for 2025-03-31 (Monday) at B-Con Plaza Philharmonia Hall.
